Location:      Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Position:       Senior Presenter / Weekend Station Manager

Description:   Presented Saturday & Sunday’s ‘Weekend Wake Up’ 07.00 – 12.00hrs Both shows involved listener participation and local guests. I also had the privilege of launching the station.  My studio guest was the musical genius Roy Wood.  I was approached by High Peak Radio Limited prior to the station coming  on air and I was responsible for sourcing the station voice and for much of the production of the station sweeper package as well as the test transmission discs. One of my other responsibilities was the station A – list as well as fine tuning the rest of the music played on the station.
During this summer (2008) I have also hosted several local events.

September 2006 – February 2008
Employer:       Oak 107FM (Charnwood & North West Leicestershire) CN Group/Lincs Group
Location:         Loughborough
Position:          Freelance Presenter

Description:     Presented two weekend shows Saturday 10.00 - 14.00 hrs Music & Chat with local guests and listener participation and Sunday 11.00 - 14.00 hrs Oak on Demand, a 3 hour live request show While at Oak I also covered Weekday Breakfast, Mid Morning and Drive Time.  During this period the station had good growth with the quarterly RAJAR Figures. (See Testimonials)
The station was given a certain amount of autonomy from the rest of the CN Group and it was good to be able to have some input with regards to the music policy.  Even though I only worked as a Freelance Presenter I also attended several local events.
